I've looked for this sort of thing in the past but not found anything. I too have played around in PS to mock something up but agree a plugin would be really useful. Wouldn't know where to start to do one myself though.
A lot will depend on how many slots you have on the filter holder as to how wide you can go. They both work in the same way and work fine with grads and ND filters including the 10 stop.
On the Lee site they say the landscape version will go down to 16/17 mm on a FF camera and the filter holder...
I'd noticed a few teething problems recently. Just been on there now and it seems much better, much more responsive. Not tried it on the iPad or phone so can't comment.
I had the MK 1 version for a number of years before upgrading to the MK 2. The MK 1 is a very capable lens and produces good results. Personally I'd always go for the Canon glass over any other.
