I am considering this lens to use at my sons football on a Canon R10 so it would give me 480mm @ 2.8
This would be used alongside a 70-200mm 2.8 on a full frame body
I am aware there are more expensive options out there and probably better option but for the price it fits in my...
A simple question........any ideas how to free it please?

Over the next month or 2 (before April) i will be looking at getting a new lens and was thinking either the Canon 400mm 5.6L or the Canon 100-400L to be used on a Canon 7D

Like you i dont do much flash photography and it works for me personally and it think it will cover the work you want it to do in your post above
It is TTL with both manual and auto settings is fully rotatable both sideways and up and down so is good for bouncing ...
As above in the tiltle i am looking to get something for next season to take photo's for my clubs website as i have been doing this year using a 75-300 usm 3
The photo's i have taken with the 75-300 and have been 'ok' but i want something little longer and maybe a little bit better image...
