Yes
just done a deal with a guy with a minty mint one pick it up tomorrow evening
good old ebay
taken a while to find one at the right price was on a buy it now with best offer
it's hard work bidding in the auctions against idiots that just seem to get bidding fever
Another lens I'll probably try out for a few times and then just put it away with all my others I don't use lol

Still the search go's on for me!

Out of curiosity and without risk of been cheeky how 'good' was the price?

Enjoy it!

Is this the 50-500 os or non-os?

it's the non os
did a deal at 380
****in bargain, proper set of detailed photos in the listing too which makes a change
can't find any OS versions apart from new from a dealer

£380 is good, I can't find any s/h os either.

I gave up looking for the os after some advice from bigma owners on here
Who have therefore saved me nearly 1k
at around 1300 for the bigma os I would have been more inclined to buy a used 400l canon

I got the OS version and it really does knock the socks off the 50-500 and 150-500. If it was a Canon lens it would be an L.

The OS is amazing on it and the image quailty is great for such a versatile lens. Sure it's no 300L 2.8 IS, but for what it is, it's amazing.

would have loved the 50-500 OS just couldn't justify the extra cost
perhaps I will up grade to one late next year when some used ones may become available
I've spent around 3k on camera bits in the last month
The x wife would divorce me again lol

Was a toss up between a bigma os and a 100-400 L. In the end the 100-400 won but I'm constantly thinking if I did the right thing. Got nowhere local that sells the bigma so I couldn't try before I buy. I borrowed a 100-400 of a guy at waddington airshow so I knew what that was like. I actually like the zoom function on the canon and I'm definately not dissapointed by getting it. But, I would still like to try the bigma for a while.

Sigma released the OS 50-500mm at the same time the 7D first came out and I had the loan of both for a week. I already have the non OS version but have to say the newer Sigma was quite a bit easier to handhold due to the in lens shake reduction. IQ wise with a decent shutter speed there wasn't a lot in it.

just got back from picking up my bigma the thing is like brand new not a mark on it and came with a tiffan uv pro filter
mega chuffed and mucho cheapness
