D40-- this is great also as a second body .I gave mine to to my daughter she should have taken my D70. The D40 will Take you a long way into photography So while offshore take the advice & read up on tutorials here Good luck!

I am having problems opening NEF files which were shot on a D90 as Adobe SRGB, can anyone advise how to convert from Adobe SRGB files to sRgb files. At 79 yrs I have looked without success on the 'net', I may have tried the wrong places.:help: Camera now being set to sRGB
