Nice one - well done! I guess I'll be watching out for you then - planning on going there ourselves (alas behind the ropes...)

    Colour replacement.

This should work fine with CS3. Good luck!

    Colour replacement.

If you're using PS you can click on Image -> Adjustments -> Replace Colour: hold down the shift key & move the pointer across the background, then change the lightness, hue & saturation one by one. It's usually best to do this with a new layer so you can erase any areas from the model you want...

    bit of advice...please

Hmmm...the lens was totally fine on my D80 - it's just the D200 it seems to have a problem with. Might be worth contacting Sigma in Welwyn Garden City (their service dep't are very helpful) to see what they suggest - 01707 329999.

    bit of advice...please

What camera are you using it with? There's a known focus problem with this Sigma lens on D200s which Sigma can fix with a firmware upgrade (£35 without UK receipt, £5 with).

    Batteries

Hi Paul & welcome. I've found Duracell rechargeables by far the best out there - fully recharged in under 1 hour & last me 6 hrs / 600 shots without any problem. Wouldn't be without them for my SB800s!!

    Live View?

I don't think you've missed out Frazel! I've upgraded to the D300 which has LiveView, and I'm struggling to think of any real use for it!

    Monitor Calibration

Martin I've got the exact same monitor & I'm afraid no amount of tweaking got the image anywhere near useable for predictable image print quality, whether I used the laptop or the monitor settings - it was just dire. However, a quick bash with the Spyder2 & it's a very close match to the imac...

    Spyder 2 Suite

Spyder2Pro is the version I use and it's incredible (on both the Mac & Samsung screens I use). Huuuge difference between the best I could achieve without it. I've not used PrintFIX myself as my printers have their own ICC profiles as part of the install discs but I understand it requires you to...
