I think X100VI may be way to go. I had a X100V a few years back and enjoyed. The VI will be forgiving of a of more cropping.

Hi, Looking for a bit of real world advice. 2 main hobbies. Walking mountains (ticking of the Munros) and taking pictures of the scenery. Owned a few cameras over the years, and a few Leicas, but the obsession with walking has edged ahead of pure photography so need something small and light and...

+1. I had it for a few years before I traded all in as I wanted to experience Leica once in my life. Firmly back in the A7 fold now I have scratched that itch and next to get on the list once the piggy bank full.

Now that is a zoom I am interested in. Not too heavy in a rucksack and all the right specs. Where from?

Is there any way to get the A7III to auto power off after no activity? I know it's my own stupid fault but twice now I have drained the battery by leaving it on. Smart settings are supposed to cover for human stupidity. Been used to auto power off on other cameras.

    Alternatives to Lightroom?

To keep the conversation going :D . As a casual/enthusiast photographer using Fuji X series the price of the Adobe subscription didn't bother me. Again, it was just having to convert from RAF using an alternative to Lightroom (don't care what they say, it doesn't do the best on this) then...

    Alternatives to Lightroom?

There is spot removal in ON1. They were/are offering 30 day trial. As with anything new you have to spend a little time playing, getting fustrated, playing again .....leaving for a week, then going back and really seeing if you like it. But, I did, and i am sure others will.

    Alternatives to Lightroom?

I recently switched for Lightroom to ON1. Not an ‘urgency’ decision but owning a Fuji X-T2 I had been using Iridient to convert RAF files to DNG then process in Lightroom for best results. I would then need Photoshop for enhanced editing. The whole workflow was becoming a pain the proverbial...

The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

The thing that is getting me most excited about the announcements this morning is the FUJIFILM X RAW STUDIO. Looks Fuji have finally said that if Adobe won't play ball we'll make our own. Can't wait to try it out.

    Fuji RAW processing?

Another Iridient X-Transformer convert here. Convert the RAW to DNG and then import into Lightroom. Gives great results for all pictures and none of the mushy'ness when lots of foliage present.

Well, only had a few chances to get out and about (apart from family shots) but I have to say the Q really is a nice camera. Can't wait for my Highland jaunt in mid spring. First warm day in Spring. English Lake District by Phil, on Flickr Orton on the Hill, early March by Phil, on Flickr

Hi  Formally Sony A7 user. After a few weeks of self questioning traded in and got a Leica Q yesterday. Loving the simplicity and feel of it. Just need to get out and about now...

Agree totally. The 35mm is a great lens and the 55 is excellent. By spectacular do we want it to emit fireworks every time it takes a shot :)
