Surely pressing the shutter half way and turning the jog wheel on the back of the camera will allow exposure compensation?

In what way does it give more control? The way I understand it, I'm in effect giving my camera permission to over write the shutter speed I have chosen to get the shot it thinks I want. Forgive me if I've misunderstood it.

Hi Bob, I've found the menu that will allow me to limit the shutter speed, but I can't find a limiter for the aperture. Do you know which menu it is under?
