Just lost another lens cap whilst out walking-any recommendations for a seller pls? Last one I bought from Hong Kong eBay was not great.

I've bought a couple from 7DS. Can't complain.

Mind you, I do keep finding lens caps lying about on paths..
 
Not exactly what you asked but if you use Lee filters I can recommend their lens caps, they're only £5 or so for 3, slip over the adaptor ring meaning you're ready to attach the filter holder quickly. They're translucent so you could take a white balance through them and you can write on them so when you've got a set of lenses in a bag you can see which one you need.
 
Might not be relevant or helpful, but: do you have a system ? Whenever a lens is on my camera, I know the cap is in my left back pocket, always.
 
I tend to leave the lens cap in my camera bag. I used to keep it in my pocket but then realised the only time it's on the lens is when I'm not using the camera. I notice a lot of people wander around with cameras round their neck but with the lens cap ON :cuckoo:

That would be me for one, but I don't use a filter for "protection" and pulling off the lens cap isn't that great a hardship :cuckoo:
 
I just put them in my left front pocket, same place every time, that way I automatically know where they are when they aren't on the lens. I've never lost one yet so I must be doing something right. I used to have one of those bands that went round the lens and stuck on the lens cap, but it was so annoying having it dangling around that it lasted about half an hour before it was consigned to the bin in the park.
 
In the camera bag for me too, I use a Hoya HD protector (not starting that debate) and lens hood to protect the front element. I got a great photo yesterday of a Lynx cub eating the lens cap the lady next to me dropped in their enclosure, definitely Lynx 1 Photographer 0 on that one!
 
maybe ask around as I'm sure some may have found a few whilst out and may send one to you if they have a spare. Amazon usually have them or even Jessops but not branded ones.
