I Guess because he's already paid the initial cost, this won't change wether you go for the Creative cloud or not. The other calculations would be correct for someone who doesn't already have PS, but only assuming they go for every upgrade.

Well I haven't got a beard and I won't be taking a backpack. I just thought it could be a good opportunity to compare my kit to more expensive kit, and thought the best way of dong so would be by taking my own camera and swapping lenses and memory cards, if you can do this.

It comes with a reasonable lightweight 3 way head, just had a look and it doesn't seem possible to change it. Still grat value for the price I think and it comes with a tripod bag also.

The only drawbacks are that you cannot reverse the legs as with the vitruvian and other light weight travel tripod and the column cannot be reversed. The centre column can in fact be reversed, I have one, and it seems good, light and cheap. Haven't given it a full heavy duty trial in strong...

I upgraded from the 18 - 55 to the Sigma 17-70. It's a noticable improvement in resolution at the edges of the image, 17 mm is noticably wider than 18mm, the extra range at the other end is very useful and the wider apature is always handy. Defianately a good buy for me. Never tried the tameron...

Sigma 17 - 70 for under £200 sounds like a great deal. I just paid £277 for one as an upgrade to the kit lens on the 550D, looks like a good improvement to me after a few test shots. Focus is noisy, but pictures look good, in which way were you not impressed? Firts expensive lens I have...

According to the manual, when shooting Auto Exposure Bracketting in continuous shooting mode, the camera should take the 3 bracketed exposures automatically with just one press of the shutter. My 550D doesn't seem to do this, and I have to manually press the shutter 3 times to get the 3...
