    The end of Photoshop CS

I Guess because he's already paid the initial cost, this won't change wether you go for the Creative cloud or not. The other calculations would be correct for someone who doesn't already have PS, but only assuming they go for every upgrade.

Focus on Imaging what goes on?

Well I haven't got a beard and I won't be taking a backpack. I just thought it could be a good opportunity to compare my kit to more expensive kit, and thought the best way of dong so would be by taking my own camera and swapping lenses and memory cards, if you can do this.

Focus on Imaging what goes on?

I've read the "Deals to be had" thread. It doesn't answer my questions. If anyone can advise, I would be greatful.

Focus on Imaging what goes on?

I'm thinking of attending on the Wednesday afternoon. Never been to a camera show before so I'm wondering. Is it worth taking my camera? Will there be a chance to stick some fancy lenses on it and take some pics to compare against my Sigma 17 -70. Will there be (high end) cameras that I...

Giottos MT 8223-50 Carbon Fibre Tripod

I'm loking at the thing now and I can't see how to take the head off. It's certainly not obvious like on my Manfrotto 055. If i'm wrong on this I would be intreested to know. Cheers

Giottos MT 8223-50 Carbon Fibre Tripod

It comes with a reasonable lightweight 3 way head, just had a look and it doesn't seem possible to change it. Still grat value for the price I think and it comes with a tripod bag also.

Giottos MT 8223-50 Carbon Fibre Tripod

The only drawbacks are that you cannot reverse the legs as with the vitruvian and other light weight travel tripod and the column cannot be reversed. The centre column can in fact be reversed, I have one, and it seems good, light and cheap. Haven't given it a full heavy duty trial in strong...

Decided on 600D or 650D; what standard lens to complement 50mm and 55-250mm?

I upgraded from the 18 - 55 to the Sigma 17-70. It's a noticable improvement in resolution at the edges of the image, 17 mm is noticably wider than 18mm, the extra range at the other end is very useful and the wider apature is always handy. Defianately a good buy for me. Never tried the tameron...

what lens can do these sort of shots?

How do you get that information from the photo?

    15-85mm or equivalent?

Sigma 17 - 70 for under £200 sounds like a great deal. I just paid £277 for one as an upgrade to the kit lens on the 550D, looks like a good improvement to me after a few test shots. Focus is noisy, but pictures look good, in which way were you not impressed? Firts expensive lens I have...

550D problem. No continuous shooting in AEB?

Looks like that's the only way then unless anyone has another solution.

550D problem. No continuous shooting in AEB?

Thank you Vince and Little John, Ah, so you have to hold the shutter down, I've tried that now and it works thanks. I thought you should be able to just press the shutter once, but it seems in continuous shooting you have to hold it down. I was thinking this could introduce some...

550D problem. No continuous shooting in AEB?

According to the manual, when shooting Auto Exposure Bracketting in continuous shooting mode, the camera should take the 3 bracketed exposures automatically with just one press of the shutter. My 550D doesn't seem to do this, and I have to manually press the shutter 3 times to get the 3...
