I found the Fro Knows Photo begineers guide really helpful, Jared is a bit full on and not everyones cup of tea but all the information is well presented.

    Cheapest win 10

I have used https://softwaregeeks.co.uk/ for two copies of win7 pro and both been fine, one I had to do the automated phone verification but easily done. I've even upgraded one to win10 with no bother.

    Sony A6000

I have noticed something annoying about the A6000 and wondered if others have had this problem and found a way around it. I have started using an A6000 after using a DSLR which when on a day out using the camera I would leave it switched on hangung around my neck, now with the A6000 I do the...

    Everyday Sony E Mount lens

:plus1: for the sigma 30mm, its the only lens I use on my a6000, it doesn't use the full autofocus points but this hasn't caused me any problems, a bargain price too.

    Beginner Low light lens advice.

I have the 35mm 1.8 and its a great lens and in my opinion a better focal length than the 50mm for a crop sensor camera like the D5300 especially for indoors where space is tighter, try setting you kit lens to each focal length and see which will work best for you.

    D3300 grip.

I think Steve is right re genuine grips for D3300. I have used both Meike and DSTE battery grips (not for a D3300 though) and I've been very happy with the quality, however the Meike one the command dials operation was reversed which was slighty annoying but I rarely changed apperature or...

    Flash gun for Nikon D7000

    D7100 for sports...(?)

I am not a 'sports shooter' but I have a D7100 and have shot sports with it, the autofocus is good but one thing that is very annoying at times of the buffer is small only 7-8 shots at 6FPS before the buffer is full then you can carry on shooting but at about half the FPS, I am using fast cards...

help picking a ttl flash please

I have both and the only benefit of the 568 over the 565 I can tell is the 568's head rotates 180 degrees in both directions where as the 565 has a stopper at 90 degrees when rotating right, its only a mild annoyance when adjusting the flash head between landscape and protrait when bounce flashing.
