i'm about to try a moon shot using my telescope. Just got the adapter to attach my d40 to it. All i need now is a break in the clouds.:tumbleweed:

Isn't that part of the problem if everyone decides not to comment because the photo is average then how is that person supposed to know where they need to improve. My last word on this subject is : Everyone decides not to comment on average photos = quality of photos gets worse then people...

If you notice the section header where you post is called "Photo Critique and Sharing" So can we really blame all the members and the site is a minority of people misinterpret this as Comments and Criticism

If the members don't want any C&C on there photo then post it in the Photos for Pleasure section that is why it was introduced. Myself i always welcome any C&C on my photos, how else am i going to find out where i need to improve.

I have to admit i've been in the same boat and only offered c&c on a few that have offered it on mine. So for the new year i'm going to make a new start of it and offer more c&c and post more photo's myself. Even if it is just what i think works or not in a photo.

i have both in the boot all the time. You never know what kind of shot is going to crop up.

now now just because your in Glasgow. That wasn't in the £9.50 holiday listing i used lol i have heard about electric brae was going to make that a place to visit just to see it for myself

I'm going to ayr next month for Monday to Friday starting on the 13th. Does anyone know of any good locations to take my camera to. I don't want to miss some great spots just because i don't know the area. Thanks Wayne

Dam that guy is dull. As was said it doesn't matter how good the camera is if the person behind it isn't in the best place or not pointing where things are happening then it's worthless. But it does look good.

Josstick and it makes your room smell nice after. But you will need to light the smoke. I used to use a table lamp with some paper over it as a defuser before i got some lights

On a D40 there is a close up function on the program dial on the top of the camera(a picture of a flower). It's not a true macro but it does allow you to focus a bit closer. It will focus to the center of the object but you will have to use a tripod. I think the D70 has the same option.
