Good choice ; I picked one of these for my mate several years ago when he was starting out and it's still lovely . I like my Lowden tho' :)

riu, You could try the following :- Portpatrick - Lovely Harbour and castle . Some nice coastal walks there as well. Loch Trool ( Near Glentrool) . Nice to walk around some great scenery. Carsluith - Has nice salmon nets when the tide is out and the sun is shining . Killantringan...

I sold my Vivitar series 1 70-210 N/Ai mount to a gent with a D90 . He's emailed me to say that the Aperture ring will not turn when mounted on the D90 , but turns fine off the camera . This lens was fine on my Fuji S5 . Any ideas on why it wont work on the D90 ? Thanks Joe,
