The Amazing Sony A1/A7/A9/APS-C & Anything else welcome Mega Thread!

In the UK we rarely get the light he gets so the 400/800 f8 would be hard to use a lot of the time for fast moving subjects i have one, I do like the zoom but a 600f4 gives you far more chance of getting the shot and wild life generally only gives you 1 chance so you just have to pay up to get...

Well i was going to get the A1mk11 for Xmas but i'v seen a couple of reviews where the focus can at times miss, now this is most likely due to how it was set up but as it's early days yet it has made me want to wait for now just until there are more opinions on it. and happy Xmas to you.

Autofocus - is there one system that is generally accepted as being the best?

You can't just pic a camera as the lens plays a big part in how fast and accurate the AF is .

When i used Olympus I never used DTC - to be honest i always shoot in Manual with any camera and only set a button or 2 just to change something quickly . The menu in all cameras are so vast in what you can do and set and that's great but not for me jpeg fine /fps / and a little colour profile...

IMHO this ( Using the bare lens I will have more potential control of higher shutter & reduced ISO.......however, more likely the need to (compositionally) crop in post. ) a wider field of view is also handy for hard to get shots and i think shutter speed will be king -it normally is for birds. Does anyone use Eco flow River 2 portable batteries?

To be honest I 'm getting it just as an emergency back up although i will use it for things around the house but only with it charged by the sun -a bit of fun really :) I bought a 5kw Chinese diesel heater a couple of months ago to heat my office again a fun thing to play with it works really...

I have just ordered the Delta 2 and 220w foldable panel then I can move it around the garden but I may put other fixed panels on the roof as that would give a nice option for when the sun goes round, I can run the cables into the garage, i went for the delta for the extra power . Rob.
