It sounds like a double profiling problem. I print from photoshop and when I go to print, in colour handling set adobe manages colour and then in the printer dialogue box disable colour management otherwise you are likely to get colour casts. Greyscale will not get the best B&W prints.

What are the current favorite recommendations for backup as I am going to have to change mine very soon? At the moment I am using about 1.7 TB.

I've had an Epson sc p800 for aboutt 8 years now and never had a problem unlike the sp3880 which developed quite serious clogging. Often left the 800 for up to 6 or 7 weeks when we've been away and fires up and prints straight away with no problems.

I used to really like the camera to print videos on LL. He really did have a great love of printing and it showed.

The fact that there is no fault code points to it being temperature or flow problem. Could you disconnect the hive and run it purely off boiler temp control to see if that is a fault. I'm certain the viesmann default is 60 degrees so try turning the boiler temperature control up. If all else...

What temperature controls do you have on the system? Check the room stat first of all. If the boiler was registered within 30 days it would be under warranty for 7 years. Have you contacted your service guy?

It will be mainly hydrogen for heating in the near future anyway. ;)

JPEGs would be fine for printing. Best to do your edits in tiff and save as tiff. But save a copy as an 8 bit jpeg for printing. Generally adobe rgb is used for print and srgb for web. It would be ideal if they did let you know the paper type and send you a profile to work to.
