Have you allowed enough time for the images to open fully?
On my old PC, everything looks pixelated for about 30 seconds until the software catches up with the opening speed.
I use pixelpost with a basic template, modified to my own use. There are a couple of little things I still want to fiddle with, when I get the time and inclination.
Like Wordpress, it just needs the ability to run PHP and MySQL, and there are plenty of free templates and addons available.
I hate reading books unless they have a very good story, so that counts photography books out :(
However, I do like reading the tutorials on here which I find very useful. If I still find I'm struggling with understanding, I youtube everything ...
Aphototog - for his amazing attention to detail
EdinburghGary - for his drive and energy
Tomas Whitehouse - I love his creativity and imagination, his shots are good too ;)
CT - for his ability to explain things in a way a numpty like me understands and his wildlife shots are something I aspire...
Hmmm I was looking more at something you could easily handle if the weather turns sour. They have a full cover on that site with the brolly but you'd sweat like a trooper in the sun if you couldn't remove it easily... Maybe a baby buggy type cover that just pulls forward, like this ...
I've done a full google search for some sort of weather protection but the best I can up with is this ... http://www.slips.co.uk/product_details.php?category_id=101&item_id=429
Not ideal but better than a cape or complete cover.
How about some sort of pull over rain cover for the chair to protect the equipment. Wouldn't want Julian to get caught out, plus it'll eliminate the weather as being an excuse for not togging ;)
Googling what's available nw :)
