Thanks for the reply rick Baby will be 8 months so pretty still.....and will be indoor with the parents.....I already have the 50mm 1.8 and was thinking of that but have also been looking at the 35mm but not sure I need to spend the money or what benefit it would give

I have been asked to take some portrait pictures of my friends baby......as most of my photography uses zoom or macro I am a bit out of sorts with the portrait side of things hence the question What does everyone think is the ideal type/focal length/speed etc Appreciate the feedback and...

I did think that when I first took it as I couldnt understand how all the light shots appeared all over the picture.....but now I must admit it has become one of my favourite pictures I have taken so far.....

LiKing no2 but prefer no 1 Asti looks fresher and less cropped if that makes sense.....
