Hi this maybe a really silly question but... why do external flashguns flash twice, why is it noticeable sometimes and not others. is it JUST for red eye reduction. Could someone please explain. Thanks:thinking:

i've got a wide angle collapsable hood. uncollapsed its about 20mm deep. i fitted it last week when walking through Wepre Park, didn't help one little bit, had to hold my hand up to block the sun.
