    Wide angle lens choices, help!

Thanks Allan. No it's not a problem really as a wide angle. If I can't reframe adequately within the 5mm zoom I can always walk backwards or forwards! I would say that for the shots I take with this lens, it's more like having an 11mm prime and this is definitely not a criticism of the lens...

    Wide angle lens choices, help!

I went for the Tokina 11-16 and am very happy with it. No problems with build, feel or price. There are some test shots that I took using this here. There are also some shots in my Gower set on Flickr. From memory I think that these were all using my D80 but I have also got good results...

Thing you'd like to say out loud at work

Here's one that I had to use this morning at work: "Please let me apologise for talking when you were trying to interrupt!" I think it was wasted on the individual concerned :bang: Cheers, Nigel

Thing you'd like to say out loud at work

Thanks for posting these. I'm in the middle of doing annual appraisals for my teams and now I can just cut and paste from here rather than having to come up with anything original! :) Cheers, Nigel

Help and advice required for site re-design

I personally prefer the galleries that are using SimpleViewer ie Nature and some of the Motor Sport. The autoviewer does not give any thumbnail options and PostCard viewer is a bit disconcerting! The Tiltviewer is seriously irritating and I chose to go back long before the previews/thumbnails...

What's your favourite Pub-Quiz type question?

->One. Bassenthwaite Lake ;) We used the team name "Whale Oil Beef Hooked" at one quiz that we used to go to. The Irish quizmaster was less than impressed! Cheers, Nigel

When the other half finds out threads

She did! :bang: It ended up costing me two sailing dinghies :shake::eek: My question of "Why do you need two dinghies - you can only sail one at a time?" was met with "Well you can't wear 26 watches at once, can you?" I think I may have lost that round on points! :suspect...

When the other half finds out threads

"Hiding" is such a harsh word! I like to think of it as not leaving clutter around the house!!! Good thing I can take most deliveries at work and introduce items into the house gradually - usually with the boxes a few days/weeks later. My other hobby is watches (another serious wallet killer)...

    In car enertainment for kids

I got a pair of these a couple of years back (although I paid a lot more than they are now charging :bang:). No problems with this site and the dvd players are quite good in that you can join them together to watch one film or have each running independently. They have quite a good selection...
