mine stops at 12 frames routinely , but then i do have setting d5 ( max continuous release ) set to 12 frames .. i can only suggest that was the reason & of course a reset would put that setting to default AFAIK 99 frames .. i'm sure it's not the memory buffer filling if youre using...

hello again joxby are you sure it broke down ? 20 coaches on is a lot more more than usual on that line , tornado has until now ben very reliable so i'd be suprised if it had broke ,it may well be that having got to 1 end of the line it couldn't get round the train to get back again...

NO thats why i did what i did . the first slot for me is the slot @ the front of the filter holder NOT the slot nearest the lens . me thinks thats where the confuzellment is happening . the slot closest to the lens is for a CPL & is narrower than the other slots .

tornado is as you rightlysay a brand new loco built to old an old design namely an A1 class it is in fact the only A1 in exsistence ,without tornado the A1 would be extinct. welded rather than rivetted ?? yes the boiler is the rest of the rest of the loco is built to a traditional design...

i use a sigma 10-20 & hitech 85mm filters and even with the cokin P wide angle holder got vignetting @ anything wider than approx 13 mm. so just recently i bought 1 of these http://www.crookedimaging.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=78 from that seller and took a hacksaw to it...

i had the same problem with >70-200+ D300 and when fitted the battery grip solved by turning the QR plate 90 degrees on the foot of the lens mount collar .

yes they fit perfectly well i & i think many others use hitech 85mm filters in a cokin P holder. they are of course 1 mm wider than cokin P filters and as a result they are very slightly tight in the holder ,nothing to worry about at all . P.S you'd of done better posting in talk...

i use the soft rubber found on the end of a pencil , just give it a gentle rub .. i'm not sure that using lens cleaning solution is a good idea .:shrug:

while i agree with others about it being a good book i honestly think it's the sort of book you read once only..
