i am going to use this to see how i improve so hopefully you will tell me were im going wrong and any tips and tricks you may have

first pic is from my first day with my camera nicked from my first thread
i use av mode for this and set it between f/8 and f/16 depending how bright the sun is etc and as said before use your exposure lock if anything like the 400d its top right side there should be 2 buttons its the one on the left then re-compose your shot
i am biased but i would recommend the 400d they are a really good camera to learn with and its a canon so great quality only bad point is if you want live view the 400d doesnt have it or i have tried out the a200 and it is a good cam for the money just go to a shop and try some out holding them...
i was ok but then one day when i went for a walk in town around some old buildings and stuff i was getting so much abuse from people saying how sad i was they were mainly teenagers and it has put me off i just normally go in the country side or places were most of the people there have cameras...
