    Lightroom 4 Awesome

I've used aperture in the past but not tried the newest version. It seems very good and the quality is also impressive too :)

    Lightroom 4 Awesome

I purchased LR4 a couple of weeks ago and I'm blown away with not only the quality of processing but the ease of workflow. Can't wait for the Retina support :)

    Monitor Calibration - Help!

Awesome, thanks for the recommendations. I think I will just go for monitor calibration at the moment as I don't have a home printer worth using for photos. I've heard a few good things about color munki products so might give it a go. Thanks again!

Early Morning Dew - Second Attempt

Cool shots. One thing you might want to read up about and try is a technique called focus stacking, then you can have the blade of grass, droplet, AND the image refracted inside the droplet in sharp focus. I've never tried this myself but the photo's that I've seen using this technique have...

    Feisol Tripods

VAT was included @ 19% on the purchase and there was nothing else to pay. Shipping was 15eur and was via DHL...arrived really quickly and they provided a tracking number. The only issue I had is that my credit card charged a 2% fee for ordering overseas... I've since cancelled it, never had...

    Feisol Tripods

Well, my tripod arrived so thought I'd give an update to anyone that's interested :) I did end up going with Feisol 3442 Rapid legs (no center column), along with the CB-50DC head. Lens help - EF 75-300mm or EF-S 55-250mm?

Hi, EF / EF-S refers to the camera mount. EF is compatible with both full frame and crop sensor Canon DSLR's and the focal lengths are designed with full frame in mind. EF-S is designed for crop sensor DSLR's and are not compatible with full frame Canon DSLR's. The focal length are designed...

    Feisol Tripods

Hi both - thanks for your feedback. Chris - Glad to hear that the mark 2 of the tripods improves on the durability. Like you, I've read some great reviews but the brand isn't quite as well recognised yet. A gitzo would be a dream but a bit outta my league! I'll be ordering this week so...

    Feisol Tripods

So, it feels like my seemingly epic quest to find a tripod is coming to an end :) FINALLY!!!! I imagine some of you will be in endless cycle too! I can't remember how many times I've juggled with Manfrotto and Giottos variants of different sizes and weights. My dilema was this, I want...

    7dayshop.com compatible batteries any good

I have 2 batteries from 7dayshop for my 5DII and they're great. The only difference between the 7DayShop batteries and the Canon ones is that the camera doesn't remember the charge level of multiple 7dayshop batteries as it does with the Canon ones...makes no difference to me though, I use a...
