    Polaroid / Impossible Project Film

I dug these out the other day, and they've all basically melted ;( I was keeping them as they suggested too. I know the new stuff is supposed to be better, but I'm not going go be investing in stuff until it's totally stable for archiving.

    Polaroid / Impossible Project Film

OK - I've scanned some in now; Slight bleeding at the bottom - but nothing I haven't had off 779/600. This one is pretty uniform, quite happy with it. Some slight darkening in the corners. Got some lightness at the top right.

    Polaroid / Impossible Project Film

I bought my first pack of PX600 Silver Shade (note: not first flush) this week and fired off a test shot yesterday. Haven't scanned it yet, but the image itself is sound - practically zero faults! I'll be interested to see how the rest of the pack turns out! I'm shooting them straight into the...

    Camera mags ( which one`s )

About 2 years ago, Professional Photographer was great and I had a sub to it. Now-a-days its as thin as a pamphlet and repeats information like Practical/Monthly. It's also very condescending now, more than it used to be. "So you want to be an events photographer" series got my goat more than...

    Morris Photographic

I love MorrisPhoto, used them loads of times and have never come a cropper with them. Half of me wishes I lived near their store, but the other half (my wallet) thanks that I don't!

Mine is certainly 77mm cos I swap the filter between this and the 10-20 :) edit: aha, mines the non-DG version! That's why ;)

    Mid range zoom f2.8

The sigma 28-70 f/2.8 is 77mm sized. Bit soft at 2.8, but stupidly sharp at f8

    Canon EOS 40D. Good Manual?

You can't go much wrong with the CanonEurope youtube videos; http://youtube.com/watch?v=EzRU4KG-jE4 - This is part one, there are 11 parts. Bit boring at first if you're used to Canon layouts, but theres some useful tips and tricks further in.

    Jessops - Idiots :)

I personally can't complain about the staff in my local Jessops in Sheffield City Centre. I only used Meadowhall yesterday because they had it in stock. If I take in Medium format film to be developed I've shot during the day they'll always take it out of my camera using the dark box without a...

    Jessops - Idiots :)

I bought a 10-20 from Jessops Meadowhall (Sheffield) yesterday for £274 (using the LENS10 code above). Bought online, with instore pick up, lass went into the back, picked up my lens, opened it to show it was all there, paid for it, and I was out in less than 5 minutes. Jobs a goodun. Even...

    Calling Crumpler Daily Owners

I have the 490. It's like an inverted Tardis I'm not kidding. I can get a 40D (with grip and 17-85 attached) a 70-200 f4 L and a 50mm f1.8 (dangling precariously ontop of my L) and thats about it. Certainly doesn't fit my 15.4in laptop either even if I empty the damn thing.
