HTML Email - <img> without src= as attachment

Not sure if mail clients will like that image tag, have you tried closing it the other way? Img doesn't normally have a closing tag, and the " /" keeps things xhtml compliant.

    Shooting "the Board"

Thanks guys. The idea for the meeting shots came from them as they want some shots to use in content articles and not just mugshots for profiles. Will take onboard comments and see how it goes. Cheers Stu

    Shooting "the Board"

I've been asked to take some shots of the board members for the website, but have never really done a "people" shoot before - I tend to do mostly landscape / nature / abstract stuff just now. We've pencilled in for 9am on friday indoors. Anything in particular I should be watching for / doing /...

Wide angle lens and filter rings

I was just about to post a very similar question for my sigma 10-20mm. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction :)

Websites. If you manage your own, how do you handle publishing updates?

take a look into akeeba backup extension for joomla. you can automate, or take manual backups (full and incremental) at various points. not quite a live preview (which is what I think you really want), but a little bit of security for when you are making large edits. I tend to do full backups on...

    canon eos 600d

Cracking Camera. Had mine for about 8 months now and it pretty much goes everywhere with me. As is hinted at above, its a great base to expand on. I can certainly +1 on the 55-250 IS and Video comments. I'll also chime in and say that a battery-grip (I went third party with timer) is well...

    Second Hand Lenses?????

Buught a few lenses from MPB up to now. No issues and you'd be hard pushed to tell them apart from new. First rate service aswell.

    Sensor cleaning

I was in the same boat a week or two ago, bit the bullet and bought a swab kit + rocket blower for about 25 quid. Took about 5 mins start to finish and to be honest, I dont know what I was worried about. If you're happy to change the lenses, and can apply a sensible (think writing with a...

    Website build

Really depends on how bespoke you want it to be, or whether an off the shelf system (and to some extent the skin) would suit. The first question anyone will ask is pretty much the mirror of your question - "what's your budget?" Stu

    Recommended bluray discs

Up to now, we've bought mainly action + effects type films on Bluray. The Marvel Series have all transferred well - Iron Man is a particular fave of my wifes. The obligatory Avatar is well worth a watch (again, mostly for the effects and style - the story wasnt particularly groundbreaking). LOTR...

    The Great Meteorological Thread

A few people here in Berwick have said the same thing. Toying with the idea of heading out later on but not sure where to go  Stu

    Morning all

Hola. Thanks for that. I think macro is where I see myself spending a lot of time and money :) The bulk of the shots up to now have been taken with the kit lens - EF-S18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II and a screw-in +10 diopter (spelling?). Rather than buying loads of glass at the mo (got an 18-55...

    Morning all

Thought Id make a start posting rather than just lurking. Starting to get back into things quite heavily now after upgrading from a fuji bridge (s200exr) to a 600d. Passed the bug onto the missus who after inheriting my Fuji for about 3 weeks bought an 1100d and wants to get into...
