I've just heard a rumor!!!
"We are pleased to announce the new Zenit mirror less camera.
We have taken note of you soft and puny capitalist cries about our strong Soviet mirror system, we think your comments about our mirror was like a castle drawbridge opening, and setting off seismic detectors in California were just a lack on your part to not eat enough Kazic sausage to build your weak capitalist bodies up.
We have got rid of the mirror, but in the tradition of the "Iron curtain", have introduced a cast iron curtain shutter. In body image stabilization has been achieve by placing lamp posts along the street to counteract the sideways G force you may experience.
In our experience the sideways movement will not start the earthquake alarms, but we ask that half of the camera owners take pictures to the north and the other half take them to the south.
This precaution is to ensure the rotation of the Earth is not compromised.
We have introduced a new lens mount, the AK42. This is compatible with the old M42 but with a hardened thread. You may use your old M42 lenses, but you need some padding between your lens and the lamp post to not introduce undue strain on the threads."
