Z8 - auto display switching option missing

Hi all,

Had a D700 and D810 since I started 15 years ago, finally time to upgrade and it's great so far, however, one issues I've found is the option to Auto Display Switching has disappeared when pressing the monitor mode button. I get viewfinder priority 1 and 2, viewfinder only and monitor only.

The option to autoswitch has disappeared but it was there and it was working.

I am seeing posts online about the sensor being dirty but it's not.

Any ideas? Has an option been tweaked?

It only takes a hair or a drop of rain to stop the auto-switch sensor to stop working .
