Just been reading delliphers thread about her first sale, a few people said how they could remember there own first sale just wondered if you wanted to show them, could go for first published to. I'm just nosey really but i'm sure you never forget your first.

I don't have one to show like i said i'm just nosey

Haven't made one yet.

Well technically I've made two, but it needs onemore sale to get me to 33p :D
So Ive not made any money :p
 
Well here is mine, was published in my local paper a couple of weeks back :) It wasnt so much a sale.... i won a photography competition with it.

:( My first sale was when I was working for an events photography company so I never knew which one it was or who actually bought it - probably the guy on the bike but you never know :lol:
 
My first sale was a set of 5 pics of Antony Gormley's Another Place at Crosby (where I live). Local folk really like them and I get many requests for pics that I sell for charity. These are the first pics but there is now a set of 15. Some have been printed as big as 36'' x 24'' and are now in the USA and Australia.

Here is my first publication but I got no money for it;);)But I have sold a lot to the drivers.

I didn't make any money but my Mum has had a couple of my pictures framed as she really likes them!
 
Well my first sales were down to a kind fellow forum member called Dod :thumbs:

Was for a motorcross clothing company. Here are the three images below...:)

My first proper sale other than to friends and family was this magazine cover shot. They'd seen the web sized version on my website and contacted me. Thankfully I had the high res original! :D

Although ive not sold an image of the back of someone seeing it, i did my first "paid" job the the other week of some puppies (can be seen in the animals section) It was for a friend of mine and i was happy to do it for free but he liked them so much he paid me for them!

Getting paid for something you enjoy is great!

My first sale was a couple of years ago now.

My fiancee has an Equestrian centre and, whilst she was teaching, I grabbed a couple of shots of a young girl riding.

Turned out pretty well and the mother bought a few.

The following week, I did my first ever event at the Centre, with the aid of a computer, an old printer and a desk.

How times have changed :)

Regularly getting work published in Equine Magazines now, had a couple of front cover shots and moved into Weddings / Black Tie events 18 months ago. The Weddings I really enjoy ... as stressful as they are :)

All good stuff really.

I meant to ask you how they came out, look good. :thumbs:

Can't honestly remember the first one I sold, was probably equestrian.
