I was thinking about that old ad (was it Carlsberg) with the bouncing balls and German soldier as the goalkeeper. Hilarious, but I think some people found it in poor taste. :)

As the anthem has become a football chant , I recommend returning the favour and adopting a football chant as our new national anthem. Given our standing in the international community I recommend

Not necessarily in that order - can never quite decide which should be No.1 :confused:

Done properly though, Land of My Fathers is stonking good stuff - have a listen to this (give it some wellie on the volume).

God Save the Queen - awful, sounds like a dirge.
