I'm using Lightroom 3 and I like the simplicity over Photoshop (which I've only had a little play with at my brother-in-laws).

What other software do you like, I've already heard mention of such things as Photomatix and Silver Effex.

Just interested :D
 
I have Lightroom 3, Elements 10 and CS5 Extended on my PC but my favourite editing software is Capture NX2 :cuckoo:

Whilst the Adobe products do a fair job at interpreting how I intend my pictures to look only Nikon's own package actually knows because it can read the relevant parts of the exif data file.

Having said that, I still often finish an image off in CS5E .. just to confuse the situation :bang:
 
Capture NX2 - great for NEFs & JPEGs, plus PSE9 when I need layers, a clone tool or need to add text etc.
 
Lightroom 3 does all I need.

On the very rare occasions some other kind of editing is needed I use Paintshop Pro X that was given away free by Lexar some time back.
 
LR3 is my main piece of software, day in day out.

I cannot remember the last time I used PS but I have PSE10 should I need to do something beyond LR's capabilities.
 
I too love LR3 and use it for 90% of my PP. Got CS5 for those occasions when I want to hardcore!
I've been playing with the LR4 Beta lately, and like its changes. Think an upgrade might be in order!
