your advice needed

Hi everyone, i have a nikon d300s and various lens. I have the chance to shoot some weddings as a 2nd and i really dont want to do them without a 2nd body. As i dont have any/much spare cash my options are
1.keep the d300s and buy a s/h d70 or d70s as a just in case.

2.sell the d300s and buy 2 d90's

3. ive been looking round and if i sell all my nikon gear i could buy 2 s/h canon 1d mk2 and 2 lens.

Im not brand loyal as i have shot and like both systems.

I know i dont really need a back up as a 2nd but you never no what may happen, if i get sent to get shots of details for example and my camera craps out i would look a tool !!

Any advice would be really helpful as im really not sure what to do.

dont sell the d300 you will regreat it, but a d70 or something for now save more money and buy full frame if you want to do more wedding stuff.
as for chaning to canon only you can decide that.
i went from pentax two sony lasted 2 weeks went back to pentax.
had a canon 400d didnt like it and the menu layout, moved to nikon and loved it still have my pentax/samsung stuff to.
