Being only 18 myself and a young photographer it's always nice to see new ones popping up,I'm self taught and used a general forum with a photography sub forum for a bit of help,Now recently I've been posting on specific forums of the sports I shoot(a rally one) and through that a young lad 14-15 has added me on MSN,He explained to me how he was a new photographer never shot an event before and I helped him make a watermark for his pics,As posting them on a rally forum with no watermarks will mean they'll get re used and you won't get any credit(sometimes)
He was going to the same event as me over the weekend and was literally bombarding me with questions,How to use his camera etc etc,And after a while I was beginning to think he'd never heard of google...
The next day he came on line and told me how he enjoyed the event and thought it was good,I thought it was good to see he was enjoying his new hobby and then he goes "TBH I'm only in it for the money" ...My attitude towards him totally changed I know it's good to make money from it but I never see it as a good way to start a hobby being in it for the money,I started photography just delighted with getting "cool" photos..
***IF you don't want to read it all read from here

As it stands he spends the whole time just asking me how to pan,how to set up his camera how to do this and that,I've mentioned the manual and he's just ignored it,Next thing he's setting up a website asking me to list prices for him and in the end he said "When you're next making a website it would be great if you make me one" ,He's even asked me to price a photo for him cause he didn't know what to charge,Now I think it's all well and good but it seems he just wants everything put on a plate in front of him and I don't want to do that,Am I being stupid?
