It's alright fellow Nikon owners I'm not going over to Canon!

Rather I know a lot of people on here like PhotoPlus magazine published by Future. It's only available as a Canon edition.

I brought the first issue and really liked it.

Does anyone know if Future plan to bring out a Nikon version?
 
I read they were planning a Nikon version, yes... I think they'll see how the Canon circulation goes. I find it tough to find in newsagents/supermarkets though :( Might subscribe. It's the best mag.
 
I missed the first issue but have bought it since. I have to admit that I really enjoy the magazine, and it covers specifics about the cameras that others would rarely touch. I'm actually going to subscribe to it this month.

There was someone that asked if they were planning a Nikon version in their Q&A section a few issues ago. I think their answer was "whats a Nikon?" :D

OK just kidding, that wasn't the answer. But I'll have a search for that copy and post the answer.
 
You need to get your kids to show you "sticky cut outs". Next time your in Jessops, pick up some Nikon brochures. So when you read PhotoPlus and see a reference to Canon, just cut and paste in Nikon :D
 
Just a heads up, to say that Feb'08 Photo Plus is on the shelves as from today
 
Why don't TP bring out a magazine? "THE TP TIMES" :)

I thought photo plus magazine did have one for Nikon aswell? :S confused now

Mark, it is very good, so far but then again it's only been out a few months. Give it 10 months then they'd probably have covered everything and then repeat topics'll happen
 
great magazine I have had it since issue 1 and took advantage of 3 issues for £3, they were doing a manfrotto monopod a few months back if you subscribed.
 
Just subscribed with the 3 for £3 offer so will see how it goes.

There is (or was) an issue with Future and licensing of your images if published in the magazine, they don't pay you for them but they want to retain the rights to your photo or something along those lines so whilst it's a good mag, just be aware of this :)
 
I bought my first issue today (issue 5) and it' looks good. Reading through it at the moment. Just have one question though regarding the CD. Does anyone know if the software on the CD contains any kind of malware/spyware? Just want to be careful about what goes in my PC. Thanks.

I thought it was only the videos on the CD? I don't think there are any programs on it. Either way, I have never had an issue with running the videos from the CD.
