Yes
when you finally feel like your camera's part of you..

Well, it happened for me this weekend, I am now one with my 350d lol.

Seriously though, its a great feeling and I'm loads more confident now, got club bookings lined up from now til end of September too.

Hope everyone else is as in love with their cams as I am!

Well done CC - happened in a way for me at the Bristol Mela on Sunday - everyone assumed I was an official tog (I wasn't) - so I just started acting like one & had a brilliant day!!
Bit too old for clubbing tho - think I'll stick to daytime fun....

Daytime fun is for after a night's clubbing ha ha, I get much better shots after my eyes haven't closed for 24 hours.. my true eyes come out lol.

awww i love my camera so very much but i do not yet feel at one with it, hehe...i look forward to the day!

I love my camera too. I mean, come on... what woman can you turn on in 0.17 seconds?

These days it's more often than not after a 60 plus hour week with the little beggars and all I want is to not feel like part of a camera.

Still, me and the cameras are taking a week out soon to hide in the highlands and chill. After a few days of that I'll remember exaclty what you're talking about. :woot:

I'm still grinning lol. Can't be healthy.
xx

OMG... Just received a letter from the DSS, been owed some money for a while.. They sent a payment of £1500 to my account yesterday, should have it by Monday at latest!
New lens time I think!

Now THAT'S a good feeling :woot:  What lens are you thinking of then, something nice and fast for your club photos?

I dunno.. I don't even know what "fast" means in relation to lenses! I'd like something with a bit more reach, and I definitely want a fisheye. Just going to clear some outstanding bills first, and then see whats left.

Sorry :geek: In lens terminology "fast" refers to it's maximum aperture so a 50mm f1.4 would be described as fast. If it was a 50mm f5.6 then that would be described as a slower lens as it's max aperture wouldn't be able to let in as much light. HTH :)

Well the more light that can be let in is great for clubs, but would it be as useful for outdoor shooting?

Yup because the max aperture is the maximum the lens will open up to, but you can still dial it down to smaller apertures. So if you're shooting in dim conditions a fast lens will give you an advantage by letting in lots of light, but say you're shooting outdoors and it's really bright or you want a long depth of field, you can dial the lens down to, say, f16 to get the shutter speed / DOF you require.
