You just can't beat the feeling .....

Just been doing the old hard drive clean.

Clicked on the MY PICTURES folder and started having a little delve into the archives. Found LOTS of pics there - some dating back to my 1 megapixel days of 1999.

Decided that it was a shame to have some of these pics yet very rarely look at them.

Sorted them out, copied 300 on to a cd, went to costco and got them printed out!!!

Digital photography is great, but you can't beat the feeling of opening your prints for the first time - to see what they look like 'on paper'. Then organising them, then looking at them again ...... quality!!!!

And just for the record ..... here's one of the shots from 1999 - me surfing (I'm the good looking one on the right!!!!). EDIT - just realised it's from 2002! Still a classic though eh?

Happy days.

All I need now is an album to stick them in and write witty comments!!!

LOL.

The only noise the surfboards make is the noise as they rush across the waves!!!! (It's sand!).

Also, as I didn't take the pic, I've not blown anything (oooeeerrr missus!!!).

Also, in 1999, or 2002 as it was - was it even possible to blow highlights? LOL.

Roger - if I was to have my photo taken like that now, I'd have my hand on my hip (pushing hard) and be breathing in!!!! Don't look that good in a wetsuit nowadays!!!!!
