I just had a neighbour knock on the door, 80 odd if she is a day, lugging a bloody big box that was delivered while we were out. Yves Geza was distinctly disgruntled, assuming I had been buying again. Personally I was somewhat confused.

Open the box, peer inside, to find some greenery [seriously], pull contents out and discover one of those things I have wanted for an absolute age, but other things have always taken priority - a one-[wo]man wildlife hide! COOOOOOL! But How? :suspect:
I mean I am sure I do some wierd things in my sleep, but I don't think I have managed to shop on line without knowing it - yet!

hmmm.....ok, lets call my mate and togging buddy Adam....

Cue much giggling from other end of line

So, without further ado.....

THANKYOU!!!

to all you guys from the forum [the Admin] that apparently clubbed in to buy it, what can I say, you lot are fab!:love::love:

Looks like its time to dust off the big lens and start getting intimate with the Autumn wildlife :D

Nice surprise for you ..you deserve it

I know this place is decidedly odd, and of course the pressure at the top is a dreadful stress, but why, why, why did the staff ever imagine we might need a raincoat for a Dalek?

Well seeing as you won't use the shed the way most men do, I now have my own 'shed' :naughty:

ENJOY GIRLIE

And well done the lads for doing this

 I mainly use it as a house for the lawnmower. Of course, you wouldn't know that - spiders live there too! :p

Sheds make perfect homes for making home brew too;)

Is THAT what he is pouring into the mower? I did wonder why it made that funny noise and smoked a lot the one time this summer I did drag it out

Seriously though, totally unexpected and delightful surprise. I only called Adam because he had seen my garden the convention weekend and we had chatted about what wildlife we get in our respective 'yards' and the problems trying to shoot there, so wondered if he had anything to do with it....apparently he was in the know so to speak.

We have today found a new woodland area very locally and virtually unknown by the usual dog walkers and the like, so I plan to head down there sometime soon and make use of my new toy

:D:D:D

Fabulous present Marcel, Brian and Matt  ...Ive been dying to say that!

...well deserve it for all your hard work Yvonne. ...been dying to say that too!

...can we also say thanks To John, Yves Geza (Yvonnes Husband) , he did share the credit card burden I'm sure and i'm guessing he didn't get much out of the convention not being into photography .... so if a may from everyone ...Thanks very much for helping out John. :)

He was in the know because we weren't sure what to get you, and thought he might be a perfect candidate to know. :p
Although in his defense he was sworn to secrecy :D
In hindsight we should have presented it to you at the convention, but I didnt think there would be the opportunity like there ended up being...if that makes sense lol

Enjoy it, its our little token of thanks for organising the convention

Our pleasure YV

I hope it brings many great images to you.

:)

Is there room for me in there? ;):D
