so do people on here think the same about this as I do...

He should never be let out...!!!! ever....
 
No matter how reformed he is I would still send him to the gallows for what he did
 
I'm a big advocate for some people being able to reform from time spent in prison. But Peter Sutcliffe is not one of them, some people are beyond human help. He took 13 lives and 30 years will never be long enough.
 
I don't know why Sutcliffe is still alive, or Ian Huntly for that matter.


As for Peter Tobin, I think he'll turn out to be far worse than either of them...

He is one of the few exceptions I have for not supporting captial punishment, mind you saying that if he was let out without the tax payer having to fund a change of name and moving him around then the govt could all be doing us a favour as I'm sure he may come on a an unfortunate accident from a large number of people where feelings still run high!
 
they could never let him out, he'd be dead in a week, there are a lot of families that are still suffering because of what he did
 
I doubt that Sutcliffe will ever be released. This is just a clarification process to see if he falls into the "whole life" tarriff, which means he can never be released under any circumstances. As it stands, he has what would now be termed an "indeterminate life sentence", which didn't exist when he was sent down in 1981. It means that his minimum term - as set in 1981 - is over. However, that doesn't mean he will be released.

I suspect Sutcliffe will be regarded as far too dangerous to ever release into society, and will join the list of "whole lifers". He certainly should do.
 
Blimey, I must be getting old. I well remember the murders & he being arrested etc.
 
Any ideas on how much its cost to keep him all these years? he gets all sorts of special treatment, I agree, crimes like his should carry capital punishment, if only to put an end to the torment of his victims families when ever the media rake up a ground breaking story about him, "Peter Sutcliffe puts on weight" "Peter Sutcliffe is a changed man"

Ok some people would be happy to see him let out, he would most probably be on one of those stupid celebrity shows how things are going now days.

any way, thats my opinion. :annoyed::annoyed:
 
I agree never let him out. leave him to rot in hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Hell is too good for a person like that.
 
I think they should let him out and then let us all know where he is :D ... :bat:
