Hi,

I just brought a yongnou flash gun. I used it for a day and it started to overhead after few quick fire shoots. Now the flashgun wont charge up. Its stays on for 10 sec then message comes up with "P.L" (Power Low). I changed it to fresh battery still the same problem.

Any suggestion?
 
I got it to work again after changing the battery with fresh ones.

Should a flash gun overheat after 20 or so shoots on full power?
 
How fresh were the batteries? It's common for flashguns to get hot when using them on full power that way, but overheat? There's no evidence it overheated, unless you can make the same thing happen again.
 
When I first got mine I used some old batteries (not used before, just old) and I could only get roughly the same amount of shots before they died. I bought some Eneloops and now it is perfect.
