Hi All,

I have a disaster yesterday when on a shoot with a mate. My wireless triggers failed me. Fortunately it was just a testing session with 2 mates of mine, so no harm done. I used my mates Nikon SB600's on TTL to get something out of the evening, but I have never run via TTL before so I was farting around trying to workout how TTL works rather than getting the real testing done.

So, I am looking to see if anyone else has RF602's and has had the same problem. I run two Yongnuo Receivers and 1 Trigger and Yonguno YN560 flashes.

I tested them a few days a go and found that they wouldn't fire. The LED on the 602TX Trigger wasn't lighting up when I pressed the top button, so I assumed the battery was dead. Quite possibly if something was resting on the button when it was in my bag.

So I replaced all the batteries in both of my receivers and my trigger and fool me I didn't test them before I went out. The 602's have been a great trigger system up to now, but they still did not fire. The 602TX Trigger lights up, I get a green LED if I half press the top button and a Red one when it is fully pressed.

But, the flashes still do not fire. They fire if I use the on camera flash to trigger them via the infa-red sensor, so it is not my flashes.

I have no ideas why it won't work, I was wondering if anyone has had the same issues with the 602's. It looks like i'll have to replace them, but i'm not sure whether to bother with 602's again.

Matt

All sorted now. I checked all the channels and pushed the panel on the bottom of the trigger with my thumb, and it started working again.

I think I may save up for some Pocket Wizards in the future.
