Yongnuo RF602/603 - PC Sync

I'm looking for a trigger that can fire flashes from a camera that has no hot shoe, but only a PC port. Like a light meter would, really, in corded mode.

Can either the 602 or 603 do this?

The 603 has a PC port for triggering studio flashes, whether it works in the way you describe I'm not sure, the manual doesn't mention it at any rate.

Edit: just read elsewhere the PC port is definitely output only, ie can't be used to fire a flash from a camera with no hot shoe.

The RF-602 transmitter has a PC sync port which you can connect to your cameras PC sync port with a male pc to male pc cable. It will then trigger the RF-602 receiver.

They used to, but the current versions I've seen have this socket blanked off, so hot-shoe only.

Thanks for the assistance all. I ended up buying something like what Richard pointed out:

And I'm going to do PC Sync -> Adapter -> RF-603 on the hotshoe of the adapter. Hopefully it'll all work nicely!
