Yongnuo RF 602

The wireless trigger unit should work on each camera

Where are you trying to plug the cable into on the camera? The trigger is for this function

The leads are to connect the receiver to the flash unit (if you're not using the receiver on a cold shoe and mounting the flash on top)

The lead that comes with the RF-602 nowadays is a 3.5mm one (with a 6.35mm adapter) for use with studio lights. They used to supply a cable to trigger the camera (depending on the model), but you need to buy them separately nowadays, cost between £3-5 depending on your supplier.

If you have remote controls for the camera these also work when the trigger is attached

As FITP says, but you don't need any cable at all to use as a flash trigger (only as a camera trigger, or to fire strobes without a hot-shoe connection).

Hi,

You just need to buy another shutter release cable for your RF602. I bought mine on ebay for £5 from the same seller who I got triggers from. Works very well, but make sure you get the proper one for your camera and not the one for 400d for instance.

Let me know if you have any difficulties finding it and I will give you a hand.

I'm wondering if these triggers will work with a Sunpac 433D, it would be great if they do as it would save me buying another 580 EX or similar, can anyone help please?

Ive just bought a set of these Yongnuo RF 602, they are great in theory but just needed to know if I have to purchase a separate cable to use them on my 5dmk2 or 30d? THe lead you get with it looks like it would work on my old 400d but not had chance to test it yet!

Your help required please!!

I bought this a week ago works fine on my Canon 40D and also on my Canon D60. There were 2 leads that came with it one for studio lights and the other one fits in the camera (3 pins on the cable which fit in next to the PC connecter.) I have taken a couple of test images with it http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=287323

I am a complete novice at using this set but plenty of practice is needed
