Its my turn now..after giving out some reviews of some peoples websites and helping some people with theirs, its only fair for you to give me some stick..uh i mean..some reviews back for my site.

Its recently gone through a redesign so i would like any thoughts from a user point of view mainly. Those of you who were strange enough to view my website before may need to press refresh a couple of times in case you have older images cached but i hope this shouldn't need to be done. Also, I'm still ironing out any small problems that i see (or huge ones depending on how good or bad i've written the code)...

everything seems to work fine, on the bits I tried anyway but I can't help feeling it just looks/feels a bit cluttered. To be honest I think it's the main banner, it's "leaking" down into the content and is a bit distracting for me :shrug:
 
Nice layout.

Not keen on the lightning below the logo image as it detracts from the text.
Also don't like having to keep closing down seperate windows each time I click on an image to view.

Nice collection of images.

Thanks..but you should be able to click onto the next/previous image when browsing the images..unless you have javascript turned off..

I changed the logo and got rid of the lightning earlier today before i went to work..just didnt have time to post about the changes earlier..so hopefully it looks a bit better, its also brought the content up towards the top of the page a bit more.

White on black is a problem for some people (not me); I find the grey reflection of the merc makes the white writing, that describes your site, hard to read.

edit: I also note that most togs put copyright rather than copyrighted on their photos... I only noticed the odd words on the canal sluice shots in the various gallery; I haven't checked the others :)

I wasn't keen on the white on black in combination with the use of Times New Roman. I prefer the Sans Serif fonts like Verdana, Tahoma and Trebuchet.

In all other respects, the site works for me.
