Just joined and thought I'd better say hello.
I'm still quite new to photography having decided last year that I was spending way to much time sitting in front of the telly on my days off. As a result, I decided to take up walking as a hobby and brought a Canon 450D as an incentive to get out and about rather than let it sit there gathering dust. After winning a few quid, I spent the money on a new 60D and have since been splashing my wages on upgrading my lenses from the old kit ones. Since then, I have also been reading up on various sites and books in an attempt to improve my technique and to try to learn post editing (something of a losing battle, I fear). A friend from the Terry Pratchett Forum recommended this site, so here I am.
I'm now going off to explore the rest of the site.
