Missed yesterday did take a few shot's but decided against posting 1 as they was shot with post processing in mind and I just dont have the Photoshop skills to pull it off.

:lol: Not sure what its called was the end of a plant's stalk covered in little ice crystals, don't think I caught it as well as I could have tbh.

Yep I've never had any house plants before not sure why just never really thought about getting any, bought this one the other day, I've got a feeling I might buy a few more they brighten the place up a bit.

Happy today put my name down to goto Skomer Island in July with some forum members realy looking forward to it big thanks to hypnotic for arranging it and for the opportunity looks a fantastic place.

I was hoping to post a nice portait of my niece today but she was out all day again, so a daft shot of me will have to do.

Skomer sounds like a great place for a trip, the coast in Pembrokeshire is fantastic. I'm sure you'll get some great landscape/wildlife shots.

Boring shot tonight absolutely shattered had a really poor nights sleep last night, and a really hard day at work so just a quick snap of tonights meal, off to chill out now well until 9 o'clock when I walk the dog.

Not a bad day today this was going to be today's shot taken this morning when I was out with the dog probably the best BIF shot I have taken.

Then I seen this little fellow sitting on the window sill outside my kitchen first bee I have seen this year. Shot with Canon 100mm macro and 65mm of tubes hand held.

Then the postman came bringing good stuff :). My driving license arrived woohoo and a letter from Jessops to say my 40D was repaired and ready to pick up :woot:

Thanks JD the bird was 1 of 2 that I was happy with from about 30 shots really need to get the practice in for Skomer, got to admit I love macro probably my favourite type of photography as it's the one I'm most consistant at, during the summer when I go insect hunting I know I'll get a few keepers not so with most other types of photography.
 
Decided to have a go at making my own bokeh I quite like the results, would like to have done a bit more experimenting but the batteries in my flashes died. Very little PP done a slight curves adjustment and USM other than that this is as it came from the camera.

Had a pretty crap week this week even tough it was my birthday so I'm runing pretty late and have missed a few day's but have used shots taken this week to fill in the gaps.

Been stupidly busy at work 2 of us trying to do the work of 5, also didn't help that I've been suffering from a bad cold again so basically I have been absolutley shattered. So all shots from this week were taken either on Sunday or Thrusday which was my day's off.

Had a bit play with my lights on Sunday my niece Bethany.

Liked this shot but shame about the poor high iso preformance of my 40D was pretty grainy before I ran it through Noise Ninja but seem to have lost a bit of detail.
