Thought maybe this will be of use to some. Bought some E6 last May, not sure when I opened it, but definitely started using it by last October so it is more or less a year old. The recommended shelf life for opened concentrations is 6 months. I knew I wouldn't be able to use up all the chemistry in that time so I bought some anti-oxidising spray (Protectan).
Most of the chemicals looked okay visually apart from the first developer
which had formed crystals at the bottom.
And the blix part 2 where it seemed have to become powdery.
Despite this, the results seemed okay, I lost perhaps 1 to 2 stops in sensitivity, but that could be due to a combination of testing new equipment and expired film. I was able to compensate in post.
Test images, nothing special.
