Just got confirmation that the AFS Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G DX has arrived in stock and will be winging its way to me by tomorrow but no later on Thursday :woot: :woot:

Now how do I explain the cost of the lens to hubby ......:lol:

:eek: He would have a hissy fit if I even contemplated saying summat like that [seeing as they were his wedding gift from me all those years ago LOL!!] NOW I am wondering how he would react if I said it was 1 or 2 of his Nitro RCs - BUT I like your way of thinking :lol:

The lens was advertised at £199.99 - I had pre-ordered way back in Feb even with it being that price. Thankfully the price hasn't increased with the recent price hike luckily for me!
 
I like the look of this lens, sounds like something i will look at once it drops in price slightly
 
Hide the box in the loft and put the lens straight in the kit bag. In a month or two, start using the lens and if he asks what it is, tell him you've had it for ages. Oh, only works if you used YOUR card for the purchase and he doesn't see the statement.
