hey,
ive been given a bunch of lenses which fit an old 35mm SLR Yashica 270. im waiting on the delivery of my very first DSLR and wonder if anyone could tell me if these lenses can be fitted, with an adaptor or similar, to my new lumix G2??

Speed Graphic list a Novoflex adapter for Yashica to micro four thirds at £109 so it might be worth giving them a call or checking their web site.
 
This maybe? (I'm by no means a Yashica lens expert so it may well be a different mount!)
 
Before you splash out on a Novoflex adaptor, try a cheapie from China via ebay. The Contax/Yashica mount to M4/3 adaptor is very simple and while the Novoflex adaptor is superb - I upgraded to one recently - it is overkill for just trying the lenses out.

The adaptor suggested by Alan looks fine. I've bought several adaptors from here. Delivery should be quick from either seller because the adaptors are already in the UK.

All my adapters have come from them and they've been hit and miss. My OM one is faulty, has a light leak, fortunately only noticeable on exposures into the seconds, but it's there.

ive just contacted the guy davek suggested, if he doesnt get back to me ive found Contax Yashica to G1 G2 GH1 GF1 E-PL1 E-P2 m4/3 Adapter from china - £11.80...sounds good to me since the lenses my grandad had look pretty cool!!
 
Hey. I received the adaptor the other day, one end fits fine on my G2 but the other seems ever so slightly to small for my yashica lens. Could there be a different yashica mount? Is there anywhere on the lens I could find a number for someone to confirm the mount for me? Thank you
