Yashica FX103 program, shutter mirror stuck

Just picked up a cheap Yashica fx103 program.
I have changed the batteries ( one read only 0.4 V ) however the mirror is stuck in the almost up position and the firing button doesn't activate the mirror.
The film wind on lever will not wind on . There is no film in the body other than that it looks in good condition .
I have no experience of Yashica cameras can anyone assist please ?.
 
Being electronic, the most likely problem is going to be the battery or the battery connections. However, the mirror has been known to 'slide or slip' from its normal position and get stuck.

You'll need to give it to someone who is familiar with older film cameras and their servicing/restoration if you're not sure how to test/check it yourself.
