I've for a while wanted to get a Minolta 3500XI flash to go with the Minolta Dynax 505si Super I got a few weeks ago. I just came back from a holiday in Turkey where I shot 3 rolls with it but in a couple of instances I really wished I had a proper flash with me apart from the pop up one which was a bit weak.
Anyway... I just decided to have a quick look on ebay to see how the 5400hs flash I had been looking at had sold. (Still didn't meet the reserve again at £36, so the guy has re-listed it AGAIN with another reserve, when's he going to learn???) and just while I was there I decided to look if there were any 3500XI's going cheap. There was one ending in less than a minute at £4.40! Not believing my luck I hurriedly logged in and bidded £10 with 10 seconds to spare. No one else bid and I got it for £9.50 with postage.
Can't wait to get it now!
