Please bear with me on this .
I do not use flash very often, occasionally indoors and sometimes outdoors. I am used to the Canon system with a 5Dmk2 and a 580EX.
Now I am a lazy and not too serious flash user, I have no interest in OCF with remote triggers-I do not do enough to warrant the purchase
Indoors I put the camera to manual ( SS equal to or less than sync speed ) aperture to suit, ignore the in camera meter, put the flash to ETTL, (bounce as needed) and shoot away chimping and using flash compensation on the flash as needed
Outdoors , similar except I underexpose by about 1 stop again in manual , this time setting the SS to whatever suits) but I put the flash to HSS using it as fill without bouncing( obviously)
Now having said all that can anyone advise of a flash unit which will enable me to do the same with the fuji
