went and done a afternoon yesterday with the wife ,I don't know if it's galloping victor meldrews or if the shops are really full of overpriced shoddy crap ,what I saw walking round yesterday looked to be the sort of crap you normally get passed off with during the January sales ,.perhaps it's me but it does seem more prevalent this year
 
Haven't noticed and doubt if I will. We don't do Christmas shopping.
 
Always been a load of Christmas crap in the shops, all the gift sets and gender specific novelties you get for a quid or two in the sales.

Since I have ceased to be a customer and now known only as footfall my days of going to the shops have ended. Now its online only for me, eyefall I suppose, but its certainly much less stressful, damn sight quicker and probably cheaper as well.

Don't do it, unleass all the shoppers have gone home on Christmas Eve, and we can pick up all the scraps at knckdown prices - which we have on several occasions - and again in the New year's shop.
 
What I was trying to point out was ,that normally the shops have decent stuff on display before xmas ,then the crap comes out for the sales ,this year the crap seems to be out early and overpriced to . Can't wait for it to all be over
