So has anyone requested an item from a certain special loved one this year? :rules:

I need a new tripod and a cable release so im hinting away :lol:

It's always the best time of year from people to splash out so what have you asked santa to bring?
 
A couple of hoods, a lens pen, microfibre cloth, beanbag and a rocket blower from assorted friends/family as small stocking type presents and my parents are getting me a Lowepro Computrekker Plus to stick all of my gear in
 
Tried, but nobody seems to want to drop three grand on a 300 2.8 L ...
 
Still can't decide wether to hit my parents up for a flash or a wide angle or to go for something not photography related. I seem to be amasing more and more kit but taking less pictures could be the time of year I guess!

I have asked Santa to bring me my first non-kit lens, the Nikon 55-200 VR.

Fingers crossed as we are off on holiday over Christmas and New Year. I just hope he knows where to deliver it!

I'm with ya, iPod touch & probably a tripod. We just bought a new car so Chrismass is pretty much nil.

I asked for a Hasselblad and a 1Dmk3 on that basis, also asked for a G9, so more likely to get that :lol:

It will be my 40th B'Day in January and the family are clubbing together but I have no idea what their budget is......so I have aimed high! :lol:
 
My brother and s-i-l donated to my 24-70 2.8L so my request (which will be from my mother) is for a pair of sealskinz gloves :)
 
I'm gonna write Santa a letter, I don't believe anymore, but it's worth a shot anyway :D
 
not asked for anything photography related but i kow most of what i am getting from the other half, not sure what others are getting me, looking at treating myself to either a D300 soon or an A3 printer
 
I hope to get a suntan.... We are off for 6 weeks photographing Thailand and Malaysia.... I am also getting a Canon 5D Mk2 but it won't be here for me to take away (I thought it may be but the date in the shops gets later and later).:bang:

Asked for a Holga, need to satisfy my lo-fi urge. Failing that the new Lensbaby with plastic lens attachment.
 
I asked Santa for a new tripod and tripod head.

Theyre sat next to me, he came early :(

Although the wife is making me put them away until christmas day :(
 
I have a new hat for when I go out taking photographs in less than great weather, or very sunny for that matter.
